Roosters U15 Boys took on the grade leaders Northcote on Friday night. Northcote has had a good start to the season playing 4 games for 91 runs and a difference in runs by 74. But these great stats didn’t change that fact that our boys went in with great determination.

The game started the 1st inning with Roosters scoring 9 runs over, over Northcote 1 run. The second innings saw Roosters gain another 3 runs but shutting Northcote out of getting any runners over home plate. Bottom of the 3rd saw Northcote get one runner home. With no change to the scores the 5th innings saw Manaaakitangata Parangi-Pratt pitched brilliantly and he pitched 3 batters up for 3 down.

Our boys took the win by mercy rule final score being 12 -2.

The team has been playing well in the first half of the season by showing many great skills. Lheyland Roebeck-Semi has been good behind the dish, Jayden Tapsell has been an OBP machine and played good defence. Gabriel Nelson has been solid at second base and came up with some clutch hits. With only 2 games left before the season takes a break over Christmas, we know this team will just keep getting better and better and come back after the break with full force for the second half of the season.
